i'm going to go ahead and try to be as specific as a i can on this one.. :?

On Sunday night i was told by numerous people and i viewed a argument in the channel about Dz using a hack in a passworded game (pawnybot i recall). During a team game. Dz used the "speed hack", which is clearly not fair to the other players. After the game was killed. A argument was came accross in #winbolo. This conversation ended when Dz was banned by LRLd. As far as i'm concerned, Dz will be banned from renbot until speaking with Sheeps and Pawn. This ban can go from one week or indefinetly..

Moving on, Other Winbolo'ers and I caught MaddMaxx playing a game on renbot and sheepbot, or in other words, preforming a ban-walk. A banwalk is when someone who jumps a ban from a IRC server or gamebot server and goes back in. I then banned MaddMaxx from his new IP address. In conclusion MaddMaxx's unbanning will no longer even be thought of on renbot unless my mind gets flipped and I decide he's suffered enough.

First of all, MaddMaxx, you preformed a banwalk. A ban walk is when you are banned from a IRC server or channel or gamebot and go in from another IP address. In fact, you also went on renbot today from your new IP address.

Just out of curiosity, why is it rude to post someone's IP? I've been thinking on this one for a little bit and I can't see why.

I would think since it is "personal" information, sort of like writting someones phone number on a bathroom wall.

There are all sorts of data miners out on the net that look for e-mail and/or IPs, to use for hacking and spam. The less info you have out there, the better off you will be.
