Themed map. Modelled after the movie, Matrix 3 Revolutions. Intended for strict tourny game, although can be played on for fun with open game. Large map. Basically, there are 2 teams: the machines and the humans. The humans start south, in "Zion", the machines start in the machine world, behind a short labyrinth followed by a thick wall of blocks. The number of players on each team should be relatively similar, or perhaps give the machine more. The machines object is to drill through the walls, and get to Zion city, and take over the bases/pills. The humans must defend themselves from their position. There are 2 ways to win, take all the bases, or alternatively, the human side must send one soldier (The One) to the depthes of the machine world through the pipe on the side, and take a single pill to the Machine Head, and place it on the designated (and obvious) spot in front of it. This is a sign of truce, and when this is accomplished, there must be an immediate cease fire. Then, "The One" and one of the machines (Smith) are to take the western route away from the machine head to the arena built for them in the matrix. Each person is to start on their far side, and someone is to call a go. The first tank to die loses, and will determine the fate of the machines/humans. A few notes: I realize that Smith isnt one of the machines, but is a virus. Feel free to get someone from outside the game to fill that role if you so desire, for the added realism. Another note is no pills are to be used in the arena, it is intended to be a joust. Another thing is that the machines should not go to the machine head and destroy or alter the placement spot for the pill as an offering, as it defeats the purpose of the game. Lastly, for the maximum roleplaying effect, I suggest the humans use names that are from the human characters from the movie, and the machines use names that are only containing 0s and 1s (machine code "binary")

Forgot to add one thing: The spawning points are made so that an enemy cannot spawn behind you and climb onto the map. The only option is to suicide. If there is nothing to shoot you to suicide, simple drive over the bottom left bases top left corner at the right angle. This will send you off your boat into the sea and drown. This design was thought up by myself and sev collaborately over irc. It is an interesting technique, which as far as I have seen, is the only way to limit a tanks spawning position, and prevent enemies from coming in behind you. The only bad part, is the possibility of spawning over and over again in the same enemy territory. However, in a large game, this should be more random (actions in the game seem to create more random factor)

I'm gonna give this a 9 because of the impressive thought and game-planning; as well as the thoroughness of the design that takes a look at bolo 'contingencies' namely respawn issues, and other bolo quirks that might interfere with the author's intent. Itdoesn't get a 10 because it would take a lot of effort to get the people together who are willing and intelligent enough to see the game through. Just getting 4 decent players for a strict game is hit or miss these days. It's kinda like monopoly, which was initially rejected by board game companies on the basis of 'too complicated' but turned into a wondeful game. That's my 3,267 cents.
