- I see that this could be played one of 2 ways: 1. 1v1 where one player calls the start and the first to reach their respective base wins. One tank starts heading north and the other south. 2. 1v1 (or more) where it's the same as the first but the first to capture both bases wins. There could be more ways to play that I am not thinking of right now. You cannot drive straight to the middle without doing something about those pills. Have fun!

Only for open game (no ammo before the end point !). The idea is good. Could you add trees and 2/4/6 starts to play with more players and not have the "starting bug" when 2 or more players are (re)starting at the same time on the same start position ? ;)
