I hate to do this on your first map...BUT...I would find this map to be horribly annoying to play. The pills and bases are surrounded by deep water so pill-takes would be really nasty thereby making it downright impossible for strict play. Only open games would be at all playable on this map. That said there are some good things I have to say for this map. You have a good sense on proportion as far as how big it ought to be and roughly how far apart pills should be. I would try to spread out the bases a little more though. If you filled the deep water with either tarmac or grass you would have the beginnings of a cool map. Check out some of these map-makers maps; Acro, Nova or Q-Mandabomb. There are a lot of others but those folks would be a great start. Check out mine if you want to see some marginal ones...;-) You are definitely off to a decent start for being your first one.

Yes, Q-Man has some really good maps ;) As for this map, definitely a difficult play. I can see many people dying trying to get those pills. Like dallen said, bases are kind of close. On one hand, it makes for super bases, on the other, it makes it impossible to attack the oppoenet, as there is no base support if you use the walls as land, and if you do use the walls, you have another tactical disadvantage because you could be spiked with nowehre to retreat fast. So spread out the bases a bit more, and add some shallow wtaer down the center. There is nothing wrong with deep sea to form a barrier, but too much makes the map hard to play.

I haven't checked out the map, but please: next time you show us one of your maps link to this "info" section. It makes it a little more convienient to rate.---So, if I actually stop being lazy and download this sometime, I'll add my rating here later. Just from a glance, though, it looks like Q and DAllen are right.

With half-way decent players on each side of the game this map would be a stalemate.
