The way the trees are placed ensures that a lot of ammo will be wasted just clearing them so you can get at things. Not only that, but the trees end up as grass. That grass/tree mixture is right where normal quads are in maps such as ct3. When this map is played, the 4 NSEW bases near the center are the most important, so if it is any game of 4 players or more, there will be a scramble to get to those bases first. Those who start after them early (cheat if you will) will ensure themselves an advantage over the other team, since the other team now has to travel back to an unspiked base to fuel, while the person who got there first is already at one. It is also an excellent place to vulture the already disadvantaged team, bieng so close to their pills with not much in their way. All in all I would say that this map is not meant for the long pillwarring games, but the quick who-can-get-there-first (and spike without being sniped) type game.
