I started a thread for all the rules. I think that pretty much covers it.

Tourny starts in an hour. We all meet in #GTO.

Is it going to be tomorrow??? :(

Well, it happened. It got off to kind of a rocky start as I discovered that hosting games and my computer didn't mix, but thankfully Nemokrad showed up out of the blue and offered to host some TTPB games. It lasted from 3:30 until about 8:00.

Despite the problems, dealing with the people in the tourny was actually smoother than I thought it was going to be. People were either cooperative or helpful (a couple people went out to recruit more players and we actually got around 10 people in one game.) So even though I got this thing going, I owe credit to other people as well who also contributed and just went beyond the call of duty.

Hopefully I can make it tommorow or Sunday, but no promises. I already monopolized the computer for four hours straight, I dunno if I can do it again. I'll definitely try, though.

Once again, thanks to everyone for coming and helping. Best thing that happened all week.

Yesssss thanks Nova. Since you took off about 30mins before I got there I was meaning to ask you if it's just a three day event...

I'm going to try to get it together today, but we don't have that many people active in #GTO. Once we get enough people in I'll see about starting up some games.

Well, it's Sunday evening. I wasn't there running things quite as much as I was on Friday, but other people wanted to use the computer and I couldn't be there. While I don't think I'll be doing this again---this weekend I think I'm taking a trip, and before too long I'll probably be doing college and work full-time.

However, I do still urge people to get together for these type of games. They're fast, fun, easy, and most of them require minimal setup. It definitely beats the hell out of "either get noob-massed in opens or bitch for hours in stricts."

So, thanks to everyone for participating, even if I did get a little snappy in a couple places. Maybe someone else with too much time on their hands can run future GTO's when I'm too old and busy to make it.

Did you say too much time on their hands! I have to much time on my hands! Thanks for hosting GTo, good luck with work and college, Nova!
