Scroll keys control primary view movement.
I made a borg that used my mouse wheel to move the cross hairs, but it never helped much.
I also made a borg a while back that moved the tank with the mouse like in a FPS. Another cool thing was that it could automatically build a specific plant by itself just by clicking. I don't use anything like that anymore.

I play on a laptop
similar to the above ... but why would you make yourself reach to range your gunsight? that seems silly .. if you scroll with WASD then you should use something like Q and E for ranging gunsight ... and use something else close to those for pill and tank views

I have a setup pretty close to jhoods with just minor tweaks for some of the gunsights and pill/tank view. I think that most top-tier players use a similar configuration.
Once you start to get better, you'll look for any edge you can get as they can and will make a difference. Having a key setup that minimizes hand movement across the keyboard is a big help.

I decided to change my mine key from shift to kp0 as well. I sometimes press the ctrl key when trying to mine and that can be annoying.
Tsk. All I can say is I'm dissapointed. I though I gave you [pip] a pro key set-up. Or mabey that was lazer :roll:

i don't know what's REALLY effective - but for me this is pretty effective on a laptop. i do have a wireless mouse but i don't use it for bolo....much.

i also have a cordless mouse, that is really close to my keyboard so that i can quickly use it to move around. and if i get lazy, i can use my touchpad to revive pills when im drive becuase the mouse stays over the pill
