This is Madd Maxx speaking... I got them and was making a nice little defended base and he stole them from me to put in a pillwar. Pillwars are just a fast way to lose pills (unless u have the most pills). And under our circumstances we would have lost (the enemy had almost all the pills!) And im not pissed off at him for taking my pills, Im pissed off at him for taking my pills right after i told all my allies that they were my pills, i got them, and that they should stay there (they were right beside me) (PLEASE DO NOT MOVE MY PILLS!!!).

After about two days with 1.13, I lost count of the number of games I spawned that I soon had to kill because some idiot started early or made one of sundry other asinine moves.

Let's imagine a sort of composite of my experiences so far. Let's just say I'm spawning the game, and joining are a few vets and at least one brainless a-hole. We'll give him a pseudonym: Dumfuq.

Sickboy: "Please don't start yet"
Dumfuq immediately grabs base
Sickboy: "Dumbfuq, please stop"
Dumfuq begins shooting a pill
Sickboy: "Dumfuq, STOP!!"
Dumfuq takes pill, grabs another base
Sickboy: "Dumfuq, STOP STOP STOP STOP!!!"
Long pause
Dumfuq: "Why?"
Sickboy: "Wait till we make teams and say go"
Dumfuq Requests Alliance With Sickboy...rejected, of course
Sickboy: "Dumfuq, quit and rejoin, then we'll make teams"
Long pause
Dumfuq captures another base, begins shooting second pill
Sickboy: "Fuck it. Dumfuq dies."
All other players ally, begin stomping on Dumfuq
Dumfuq: "FAGS!"
Dumfuq quits game

Oh, you laugh, but this sort of thing really happens. It happens a lot. I may not be the best player out there, but I had enough brains to know the simplest rules of bolo etiquette before I even started playing 1.08 (the first vsn. I downloaded). From what I can see, the player pool is at least 50% Dumfuqs and growing; and they really have no excuse, in my oppinion, since they repeat the same Dumfuq behavior game after game. Sorry if some people get mean after a while, but I'd say it's an appropriate response to this plague of Dumfuqs.

i think being mean is the only way to get your point across........people are to stupid if u try being polite..........but if you drop some f bombs here and there they seem to get the point alot faster.......it smartens up stupid allies fast or makes them quit.......either way is okay with me

Bolo rules. I too used to play it back in the good old days before highschool on those old macs. Back then it was just crazy cause there were like 14 people in the game all the time. Now with WinBolo its much more organized and strategic than it used to be mainly because of this website. I remember when i was a newb when WinBolo was first being developed. Since then things have changed. I welcome any and all "newbs" to this awsome "clasic" game which I spend more time playing than even starcraft...

First of all, it is only impossible to aim with an X-Box controller. I've played FPS games on my computer with a Playstation2 controller online in some tournys and it actually can be more efficient. Except for weapon selection, the keyboard is pretty useless in games. X-Box controllers just suck period. Enough said. Winbolo is better than most or even all FPS games i've played, even though i'm not that good at it. Well, enough said.

hah obviously you weren't any good at those fps' either. I don't know about you but i don't have a problem aiming with an xbox controller when I play halo2. Maybe your just useless? and wasn't it you that was spamming that gaming site? any real gamer will rip you a new asshole for saying keyboards suck. Second of all... if you have a decent keyboard, it can be a useful tool in games, but with the gay ass dell one I have... it just sucks

maybe your just useless? nothing beats a keyboard mouse combo in an fps. unless your keyboard doesn't have keys....or the keys don't work. Then a controller might own you, but there is a chance you can get the mouse on his face fast enough that you standing still doesn't really matter.
