I've been told that I'm fun to piss off (and on?). But really, the point is just that it's now much more difficult to delete posts in the event that one would want to delete them, or so I've been told. "Let the healing begin" is a reference to Elvis's wish that we learn to deal with (rather than delete and ban) each other.

I bought this new shirt recently to wear to a wedding.

I didn't wash it before wearing, as I didn't have enough time.

It felt fine during the ceremonies, but later that night, and the next day, my chest began to itch terribly. Then my back and neck started itching. Now my chest has this rash on it. I think something in the starch they pack with the shit is giving me an allergic fit. It's damn uncomfortable.

As for Min not having privs on here anymore, who cares. He left the community 6 weeks ago. Happy trails to you, Min, if you read this.

As for Killjoy not having privs, I guess thats ok, even though he was part of puting the front end of this site together, he doesn't really check the forums as regularly as most of us do.

If any user (other than Elvis or Canuck) is ever reinstated, it would be expected that they know what to either lock or delete. While some threads could have been locked instead of deleted, others were obnoxious, pointless, wastes of bandwidth and I thank whoever 86'ed 'em.

As to the real reason for this thread, I believe LRL is right, it's the politics happening on irc.winbolo.com, mainly between LRL and Nemokrad. The only way to solve this is through an intelligent discussion with an impartial moderator. What's to talk about, I have no idea, but there's bound to be some ground gained toward a better understanding.

I just wish SJ wouldn't hold back, I want to know his true feelings. And nice post Sticky.

I'm sure Elvis will be putting back some admin’s, once he gets his Terms of Service (ToS) policies in place. That way, the admin’s will have some limits and accountability.

And since when does a designer need admin control over his work once he is done? I don't follow the logic here. I wish I had control over every site I ever developed, there is a nice bank site that I could use right now. Killjoy did a great job and he should be thanked, and he has helped the community so I think he would make a fine admin, once there are policies, but admin and design are two different kettle of fish.

And by the way, I moved sheepbot to .us because I was annoyed with the abuse of power and the 'old-boys' club that is centered around minbot. I made the decision all by my lonesome. I didn't want to post about it just to feed the fire.

Having the old-boys club op's is how most other IRC servers work, but I don't think the official winbolo IRC has to work that way. It would be nice to know how a person can become a op, what does it take? I think it should be a reward for those that have helped out the winbolo community and have been around... and are responsbile. Op's should also be those that are actively involved in the game.

I don't buy that op's are around to moderate only, it's a status most of all.

I used to get annoyed at bolo IRC politics and I'm annoyed with winbolo.com IRC politics. If I'm not an op, so be it, but I have consistently said I wanted to see transparency and fairness, otherwise I don't see the point.
