There is no need to be swearing throughout a post, there is no need to take God's name in vain, nobody here is going to be impressed by your aility to do either.

Swearing and taking God's name in vain are detracting from your argument, for instance, Suicide Jockey look at some of the replies that you are getting, and compare it with what other people are getting.

The effects of what you are doing is causing your posts to not be taken too seriously, as will instulting people. (Though that last sentance is more my opinion, but if anyone would like to agree :D)

That's nonsensical. You suggest that if everyone acted like me, no one would join a server on which he didn't have ops. That's fascinating given that: (1) I'm on .com as much as .us, as is LRL; (2) I never requested ops on .us, which ought to suggest that that's not why I went there; and (3) I've been given ops on .com a couple of times and have de-op'd myself each time. You're clearly oblivious to the sarcasm contained in my constant requests for ops, which are only only meant to attract flames.

There are really two ironies at work here. The first is that, by flaming in hopes of proving your point, you're proving the opposite, namely that people who don't want to deal with flames might want to avoid some personalities on .com.

The second is, of course, that your flames in favor of .com, expansive admin privileges, and the like are precisely the sort of thing that wouldn't be tolerated under the system you support. It's a rather odd argumentative tactic to take a position that amounts to stating: "I'm right, because people like me shouldn't be allowed to say things like this."

Having said that, I personally think flames are about the only useful thing being posted these days, and I'm looking forward to the next installment. But if you're going to lump me in with your other targets -- I'm not sure, given your charitable statement that you've decided I'm not really the problem -- c'mon, man, give me something to work with.

I'm kinda suprised you wrote a bunch of stuff against the policy on LRL's site, as it kinda follows what you and I talked in a /msg - that ops should only kick ppl who flood, use excissively annoying scripts and that's about it instead of using op powers and #winbolo as a personal kingdom. In spirits it follows what we agreed in our private discussion a while ago.

Also, I dunno why ppl say that since people go in different rooms/servers/channels it means the doom of life. Kinda silly suggesting that we all HAVE to be in the same room in order to play with each other. A family can still have fun together and be quite united without everyone HAVING to spend all their time in one single room of the house. Not to mention every successfull internet games allows people to play equally well without being forced to go in the same room/channel - only the dying playing communities stick to one room/channel. Having two servers full of winboloers players show that winbolo is doing good and great.

Anyway, all the more power to you SJ to cuss me out. Much better to get things out in the open then having to worry about our post being deleted cuz they might offended someone. If that means having people like you cuss me out, then I'm all for it.

Nemokrad has server banned me yet again (for 2 months he says). This time i didnt flood or use excessive colours, i only asked why he had kicked me. I think that random banning of pplz (even if u hate them) instead of just using the handy /ignore command is just bullshit. I demand to be unbanned and be /ignored by nemokrad who should mind his own fucking buisness. This is one of the reasons i dont like most of the current irc.winbolo.com ops.

So if you start flooding again, and Nemo has you on iggy, he won't see what you did.. but other people will and will likely become annoyed.

Jockey, can I request some actual and proper grammar? The paragraphs that have stuttering sentences follow by an ellipsis are annoying. Why are you flaming Kax? Hell, why are you flaming anybody? They are enjoyable though. :D

I think this all comes down to time spent on IRC. Now that I'm working 40 hours a week, I enjoy IRC much more now that I don't spend as much time on it. I'm sure that some of you that only spend an hour or two on IRC are enjoying this discussion; it certaintly gives me something to do before and after work.

I swore I wasn’t going to make another post for maddmaxx or sj to turn into a circus, but I will anyways.

1. I don’t agree with ops not ignoring people just because they need to see what’s being said in the channel. That's completely wrong, for instance say someone privmsg’s an op and says “fuck you, you suck and shouldn'y be an op.” or “I will kill you” these are personal statements/attacks. To ban someone from the channel or server for such things is wrong. If we expect any of the normal users to act appropriate these things need to be dealt with in the same manor a user would have to deal with them, NOT as an op has the ability to deal with them! You can just ignore Privmsg's from people...

2. As for the reference I and nemo should have a moderated discussion. Since everyone believes that’s the main problem. (Which I don’t believe is) We did talk a while ago. Simply exchanged insults, made for more hard feelings and accomplished nothing. I don’t see anything more coming from that.
