The video captures what you can see on the screen. Quite literally the screen itself, so if you jump to pill view you will record that, if you are in double sized view you will only record half the screen.

What format will it be in?

When capture is started it prompts for what compression codec to use based on what compression codec's you have installed. (Uses Windows Media player codecs) Different codecs use different amounts of CPU time and as the movies are compressed in real time (as part of the brain process) it may impact upon your game playing experience. I can't remember which codec I recommend but typically they come out very large. 300Mb for a 20 minute game. However compressing with winzip they shrink down to 3Mb.

I'll post the URL to the brain on the website later today for people to download if they are having trouble.

I had posted previously about trying to setup a page containing all brains/map editors etc but not much has happened with it.

hmmm...ok can sum1 help? i just put the movie filmer in my brains file for winbolo...thats what i supposed ta do, correct? so then how come when i go to a game it's not there under the brains menu?....i think ill just go ask for help on irc......

Things to try out:

1. Confirm that it is in the Winbolo\Brain directory
2. Confirm that you do not receive any error messages when you run WinBolo about not being able to locate a brains directory.
3. Start a single player game. Allow computer players. Do you see vfwSpeilborg in the brains menu?

That's an excellent suggestion Sakurazukamori, if we did that, there wouldn't be any games, so there would be no way that anyone could cheat...
