I spoke with Pyscho a couple nights ago and he wa shaving connection problems. However, if it hasn't already been fixed it will be shortly and then (deep breath) he can finally begin on the website. I figure it might be better too have the tournament closer to the holidays anyway, where school and work wouldn't interfere as much and everyone could lock themselves in a room, strapped in a chair in front of your pc, with al your visiting family and friends wondering where you are and what you're doing. But I'm not forsure on a date and during the sign up process I will be able to see when people are most likely able to play.
I almost forgot I was a hillbilly, Madd Maxx, TY.
Btw, I have 2 manure spreaders, 3 hitch plows, 2 good Ford tractors and one John Deere w/blown motor that's good for parts for sale.

Bleh, compromise is over-rated. What do you get when you compromise the DNA of a cattle and the DNA of a mouse? You get something like that guy Suici...uhhh.... I mean something that looks funny, smells weird, and really taste funny :P What's good for everyone in my humble opinion is for people to have real options (for example the .us/.com options).
However, Min does raise a good point - people do get pissed off when they feel that a bug has been the sole reason they lose a game, especially if the game counts for some kind of tourney. The challenge Sky is for you to keep a level head and come up with a way to resolve these issues before they come up...so that when they do come up, you're prepared and all parties involved feel it has been resolved fairly. I have some suggestions and I would be happy to provide them if you so desire.

Well everyone,
People have been signing up for the tournament since Friday. There are currently 21 players registered. I may wait for the first 24 people then close the registration booth. I know of two more players that will be signing up, meaning only one more player can sign up. However, I may let people register until this coming Friday. If there is an odd number of players, someone will randomly get a bye. As a reminder, all opponents will be choosen at random. Also, if there is 24 players, there will probably be four groups of six players. Each group will have random players too. The winner of each group will advance to the semi-finals and then the final 1x1. I will be looking at peoples availibilty to decide on what days the tournament should be run. As I said before, the tournament may go more than a couple days. That being the case tournament will resume play every week on the same day or days. Once I figure out when the best day is and the site is finished, I will personally contact each individual via e-mail to let them know when the tournament will begin. Also, some rules have been tweaked after listening to advice from some older players. The rule will be absolutely no holds, unless someone drops. That includes bugs too people. Think of the Olympics. Sometimes the underdog wins (no pun intended) because certain conditions weren't right for the supposed best athlete. It will be the same in the tourney. Well last night Bthunder and I came up with a lay out for the match up page it can be found http://www.freewebs.com/winbolo/ I'm thinking about asking sheeps if sheepbot can randomly assign numbers to seed people. Like the "bah" feature he has. Also 8 people will get a bye into round 2. With 24 players that number doesnt break down correctly unless 8 people have a bye the first round. again, those byes will be according to seeds. I also e-mail psycho last night, with an update on the rules. That text will be upgraded shortly. The lasat thing for me to do is come up with a list of maps. For those of you playing you should have my e-mail address. If you want any input on what maps you want e-mail me, im me, or pm me in irc. I already have an idea for all the maps. The last thing is that there are still two slots availible. If you're new to the game or a rusty vet, don't be afraid to join. It's only for fun anyway. I think thats all.

Last night several of the tournament players joined a channel seperate from #winbolo. Here rank was assigned to players with a script Sticks provided. Round one match-ups are set. 16 players will be playing in round one, while the other eight have a bye. All that needs to be done now is for the rules to be updated and the availible 1x1 maps for the tournament.
