I've seen it.

I believe its more about the culture of fear that Michael Moore believes exists in the US rather then the amount of guns available.

Michael Moore wouldn't know what a coherent thought was if it bit him on the a**.

I thought if anybody understood it it would be a canadian maybe i was wrong. I know this is a stupid topic to bring up but i figured it would show me who the retards are and it sure did, didnt it lil wonka? Anyways Michael Moore is from Michigan, i was thinking of asking him to join team michigan.

Weezy, I spent a year working up in Denver. The place was a couple of miles from where it happened. There were a number of people who worked there that had kids going to school at Columbine. So, I think that I have a little different perspective than the normal person; it's more in-line with the parents of the kids that went there.

I also have a daughter in High School, last year for Xmas she wanted a trench coat. Well aware of what those two pieces of shit members of the trench-coat society represented, i was immediately against the idea. So we had a little talk about what happened at Columbine. And behold, she wanted one like the Matrix, so she got a full-length black leather trench coat. Only problem is, she can't wear it to school. Zero-tolerence. She will get detention for wearing it.

Michael Moore is an idiot. Period. His conclusion of what caused Columbine is complete lunacy. What I find scarier than his conclusion is the net result of these mindless socialist dweebs running the schools have gone and done. Zero-tolerence. They don't want anyone thinking for themselves, so they pass these rules that no one can change, or interpret in any way shape or form different than what the stone-tablets from their "Moses" state. They set school standards to the lowest element instead of forcing kids into achieve.

There's this girl that goes to high school here in the Houston area, actually Katy. She was president of the National Honor Society, president of the student council, a 3.9 something GPA. Her mom gave her the pencil sharpener she got when she was a kid in Korea. In the U.S., it's considered a 1" knife. So what happens, they kick her out of school for a couple of days, give her detention for a week, kick her out of the student council and strip her of her presidency of the NHS. Fair? I don't think so. But to these mindless morons called school administrators... Zero Tolerance. That is the lasting effect of Columbine.

What caused Columbine? I think one of the best books about what caused it was written years ago, late 60's early 70's by Alvin Toffler titled Future Shock. He goes into detail about the growing impermanence in American society. Couple that with the new "state" religion base of the teachings of Nietzsche’s subjective morality. And I think you come pretty damn close to what caused Columbine.

Know what caused Columbine? A couple of stupid f*cks who couldn't hack real life and some other idiots who didn't know when to stop teasing or whatever the hell they were doing. Honestly, no one these days can put things in perspective nor know the meaning of the word "consequence".

And yeah, I saw BfC but I don't remember what or who Moore ended up blaming but I do remember his interview with Marilyn Manson, whom I have more respect for now because of the interview. And yeah, Moore's actually from Flint and most people either hate him or love him. I'm pretty liberal but I'm also pretty indifferent towards him. He's been guilty of twisting facts around but at least he's willing to do dirt digging on Corporations and our Government.

On another note... I still stand with the statment I made. I think you compleatly missed the point of the movie.. Do you remember what it said in the begining of the movie? "Is america gun crazy or just nuts?" Michael Moore made fun of America and blamed our culture and our government for columbine, it had nothing to do with me or your daughter who lacks a mind of her own or some hoe with a made in korea pencil sharpener. (She can't be that smart to bring something to shcool after the columbine "incident") And hun I dont think columbine is some laughing matter or anything along those lines...oh and btw do you remember what Michael Moore blamed the shooting on? He blamed it on bowling because that is what they did the night before. pmg, I agree with you. I like talking this type of stuff. One thing I will say about Michael "the moron" Moore is this... Even if you didn't agree with the conclusions in the movie, it is thought provoking.

Maybe its because i got so sick i couldn't finish watching the movie, but from what i seen it was some pretty left wing anti-gun propaganda. I am a very conservative people go figure I help run a site called www.screwtheliberals.ca guns are the excuse everyone uses for this shit. I have hunted and shot in competitions and never killed anyone yet....if kids knew what the fuck they were doing with guns they wouldn't have all these accidents........this was jsut a couple of fucked up kids, and like sticks said they figured this was the easy way out and a good way to get there names everywhere......they did become pretty popular fast, it wasn't in a good way....but maybe its what they wanted.

Weezy, what I don't like about Michael "the Moron" Moore is this: He starts something with the end already decided. Then he interviews people for the "appearance of fairness" then he re-edits these pieces to provide the means to an end. His agenda is already set, and to think any piece of his is fair is missing the point all together.

He is not a journalist, he is a propoganda machine... and that is why I made my initial comment about him not being able to have a coherent thought. He's incapable of it.
